its a big circle. you see more and more traditional arts creeping in. they never left. everything you see in mma is from a traditional art, its the training methodology that differs the most. on the other hand, why do you see more traditional arts creeping in? because mma has shown us that we need to train differently and get the arts back to what they were designed for.

95% of all fights end as a wrestling match, so Judo is a useful skill to have.

Chuck P unless you can prove that dont say it. i rarely see fights end up as wrestling. if you mean 95% of UFC fights end up on the ground say that but not 95% of fights end up as wrestling.

look at japan alot of judo players do mma in japan. judo guy in ufc karo paryasin(not sure if spelled right) also dong hyun kim( studies judo at yongin university) are top notch judo guys who fight mma

Judo is a very good art to learn. Many people think that Judo or Greco are much more useful for MMA because they focus on upper body throws instead of freestyle wrestling that can leave you open to knees. Karo is just the beginning. There nothing like a well executed throw!
