UFC Fighters
Ace C asked:

Is it good or bad to workout and then jump into a cold shower right after your workout? If you can can you explain why it is good or not good?

I do the same thing when I am training hard.

It slows are stops the swelling in your mussels and joints that is normal after a hard work out. This will help you feel better the next day and lessen the chance of mussel injury.

This trick allows me to train harder and longer.

It prevents lactic acid from pooling in your muscles, thereby preventing soreness the next day. It is a good practice for anyone who works out – get into a shower that is colder than you are used to and let the water warm up on your body.
