how good is the jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts training that is being done in the marine core these days?

Mixed Martial Arts
Mike R asked:

I’d like to know because I’m going to be an officer in the Marines and I’d like to continue training, if they offer good training. Thanks!

If you are going to become a Marine I suggest you learn of how to spell what you want to become.
its Marine Corps… not marine core

MCMAP is good, gets better the higher you go in the system. I would suggest correct spelling before you try and become an officer. C O R P S. I hope you don’t call for fire like you spell.

I leave for USMC boot camp Oct. 27th.

YES. Why would the MARINE CORPS have a sub-par martial arts program? I believe its base is Krav Mega. An Israeli form of fighting. Very “good” and fatal.

You should get your s.hit squared away man. I don’t want your ass telling me what to do. First learn how to spell Corps. 2nd consider joining another branch… please.
