Who cares ? asked: I want to start a career in MMA ( MIXED MARTIAL ARTS )
I am taking a break from college, to work & train MMA.
I work at home, so i make my own schedule,
So that gives me some freedom, to work out, and train my MMA.
I also have to start, working more, so i can make enough money, to pay my bills, and my gym membership costs.
Do you think i am making a mistake,
leaving college, to pursue a Career in Mixed Martial Arts.
Its something i like doing, and i feel like i can have alot of fun, and maybe someday making a living, out of doing something i like/love.
Even if i don’t make a career out of this, ( which will take anywhere from 1 year, to 3 years to become a pro Fighter )
Just like college, ( where it will take you 2 – 4 years to get a degree in something )
Bottom line from this is i will be in great shape, physically & mentally,
It will improve my life, & I am sure, this will make me feel even better about myself. ( Boost of self confidence & self esteem )
Learn self defense, and even know how to fight better.
How should i make my schedule, work, & training schedule
I am going to start working full time, 20 – 30 hours a week.
Just like college, you have expenses. books, etc, etc.
MMA gyms are also kind of expensive,
( Most of them cost around 100 – 150 $, a month )
I am sure, i can always come back to college, and continue my education, ( maybe get a fast degree in a certain career field, within 12-18 months ) If i happen to change my mind,
( even though i don’t know what i really want to major in )
I don’t really know what i want to do with my life,
that’s why i am giving MMA a try.
I want to hear other peoples Opinion about this, so i can see where i stand, What do you think ???
