mixed martial arts in the Philippines?

well i will be leaving new jersey to go to the PI in october for a 4 yr college in pamapanga or baliwag. and i wanted to know if there were any muay thai, brazillian jiu jitsu, mixed martial arts, etc. near those places? especially near bulacan or pampanga? i have been training for 5 years and still want to continue, maybe even have ehibition matches while at school. thanks in advance!

all you’ll see are boxing gyms, i have no idea if there are mma places in those areas you’ve mentioned but you can ask if there are.

you’d have to travel a couple of hours south to the Metro Manila area where some boxing gyms set schedules for mma. the mma instructors there are probably local mma fighters and you can just ask them where they train. i’d recommend Red Corner Club, they’ve had brazilian jiu jitsu ever since.

There are a couple of boxing gyms in Manila that have MMA classes. Not sure of their names though. But you can also train on your own at a boxing gym which you’ll have no problem finding. I’ll be opening an MMA gym in Olongapo in about a year. So look me up then.

most university & colleges in PI has a martial arts club, just join those clubs and they do teach different martial arts fight.
